house Office Inspiration. If you are anything with my associates or me, I watch HGTV going on for every afternoon or evening at home. I adore seeing how Joanna Gaines can just transform any make public into something specifically for her clients, or watching how the Property Brothers twist dreams into reality. What just about a house office remodel?

Now that my daughters have moved out, I became my own Joanna Gaines or Jonathan Scott by transforming a room in my house to my house office!

This room has a lot of chronicles in my family; it's been a bedroom for my oldest daughter, later a guest room for my mother, and now it's finally my twist to create a mark.

I Needed My Own Space

Don't acquire me wrong, I adore my family, but I utterly infatuation my own make public to allow my dreams and issue grow.

My favorite assistant-my husband, Ralph-helped me tremendously throughout the transformation!

He helped have emotional impact the 20-year-old bookshelves, my daughter's childhood bedframe, mattress, and every of the junk that had collected in the room.

Home Office Budget

I as a consequence didn't have a big budget. I re-purposed a lot of things from going on for the house: bookshelves from my daughter's room, books I stuffed in the attic, tables, and lamps from our breathing room, etc.

The things I DID spend allowance on:

Teal chair - $110 from Wayfair
Curtains - $60 from Walmart.com
1 Bookcase - $75 from local vendor
Whiteboard - $15 from Walmart
Paint - $50 from Lowe's
Interior designer, Robin O'Nan - $155
Total = $465.00

Be A intellectual Shopper

Choosing the few things that I did want to splurge upon is what I found to be the key. Having an interior decorator is key. She helped me choose the paint color and was skillful to put every of the items in their place to create an elegant comport yourself space. Finding a local interior decorator can be simple by asking friends upon social media for recommendations.

Re-purposing out of date things from going on for the house not without help saved me money, but it as a consequence gave a supplementary wisdom of set sights on to things I had forgotten were even there. I did not think that I could create a pretty make public with without help $500. One of the bookcases came from my daughter's room, the lamp was in my bedroom and the table was in the breathing room.

You reach not have to spend a fortune to have an office that looks with it belongs upon HGTV!

Talk to you soon,

Kathleen Olivieri
